What it was

A programme about judgement, not tools.

Many people can generate AI outputs. Far fewer can turn one into something measurable, accountable and operationally viable. The Academy was built to close that gap.

Sixty selected BSc and MSc students worked through four workshops on a single real business case, supplied by VML MAP. Every session was co-designed and delivered with a corporate partner — real tools, real frameworks, real expectations from the companies doing this work.

Ethics, governance and accountability were not a closing module. They ran through every workshop, because a solution that cannot be governed cannot be deployed.

AI Day · 6 May 2026

How it ended.

The Academy closed with a Partner Expo and the Finals at Ovnhallen, Porcelænshaven, CBS. More than ten companies hosted booths, industry leaders spoke, and the top three teams pitched their working MVPs on stage to a jury of industry and venture investors.

Teams were judged on business value, technical reliability, responsible AI and execution. Not on polish.
